mozillaZine: Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 1.0.6 Releases Coming

Just days after the releases of Mozilla Firefox 1.0.5 and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.5, it appears likely that 1.0.6 versions of the two applications could be coming as early as next week. It is understood that API changes in 1.0.5 unintentionally broke some extensions.

Check out the color changing background algorithm

Jeremy Parker has done a really neat bit of php-ery on his web gallery…

I have implemented a color-changing background algorithm for my photography website that is pretty cool. It’s an interesting use of PHP to calculate the average color of a given photo and use that as the background color. You can see it by viewing any of the photos on the site.

CNBC’s “The Big Idea” forces 1UP Editor to walk off in Disgust

I’ve never walked off the set of a TV show in disgust before, but this week I did. There’s a first time for everything, I guess. After enduring it for about 10 or 15 minutes it was clear that the whole situation had been a set-up from outset.
