I went through similar fun times with a slightly more modern machine than yours... A couple of years ago I picked up an ACER Extensa 390 P166, 16MB, 1G hard drive, and it did have a cd drive that worked some times. Anyway, last thing I did was turn it into a linux machine just to mess around with it. The poor thing is so slow and the display is so hard on me eyes. I'm not sure where it is now... So it goes. Hey, nice wedding pic. You cleaned up real nice. It blowed up real good. Hey man, that’s amusing about your laptop.
