I’ve never walked off the set of a TV show in disgust before, but this week I did. There’s a first time for everything, I guess. After enduring it for about 10 or 15 minutes it was clear that the whole situation had been a set-up from outset.

CNBC’s “The Big Idea” forces 1UP Editor to walk off in Disgust
July 8th, 2005 at 11:41 amMedia coverage of the Canadian DMCA-like copyright legistlation
June 21st, 2005 at 12:10 pmUniversity of Ottawa Law professor Michael Geist has been covering the Canadian government’s path towards a DMCA-like copyright legistlation pretty thoroughly. Below is an excerpt from one of his recent postings…
Most telling, however, was the appearance of Canadian Heritage Minister Liza Frulla. The Minister picked her photo-op to discuss the bill. She didn’t pick a library or a school or a university lab or the National Arts Centre or any other place that would tie copyright to the concerns of Canadians. No, she did her interview from an HMV, the foreign-owned record store. That is the proverbial picture telling a thousand words about Bill C-60.
Ouch.

Last I’d read this wasn’t going to be released until just before Season 6 started, so they could use it as promotional material for the new season. I guess that was wrong. Here’s a possibly spoilery link to TV Shows On DVD‘s review of the set: Sopranos, The – The Complete 5th Season Review
